A major focus of FLP's efforts at this time is pursue legal action to dispel any doubts about the public's ability to access the Lafferty Ranch property from the public road.  In addition, FLP engages in public education about the benefits of opening Lafferty Park to public enjoyment. Once the access issue is cleared, money will be needed to build trails, footbridges over creeks, the parking area, and other necessary infrastructure. We are also seeking volunteer effort and donated materials toward these projects.

Please make check payable to Room to Roam, write FLP on the check, and mail to FLP, c/o Larry Modell, 1705 Brompton St. Petaluma 94954. Contributions are tax-deductible and will be used only for public outreach about the need for opening the park, as well as for the minimal development planned for Lafferty Park (trails and trailhead facilities), and for park user programs.
