A very unusual late May rainstorm kept most people home for this event. Those who turned out decided, under the circumstances, a "Drive to the Park" would suffice this one time.

Bruce Hagen points out Lafferty features.

Bruce, followed by others, symbolically deposit bits of "quarry fines" (fine gravel) which will become the material used for Lafferty Park's small parking lot and wheelchair-accessible trail.

Larry Modell follows suit.
