Spring is green and beautiful on Sonoma Mountain, but we could use more

The City of Petaluma is experimenting with controlled grazing on the upper
part of the Lafferty Ranch property.
As a consequence, we skipped retrieving photos from the two upper cameras
this month.
The grazing might be affecting wildlife as well. We'll continue to
evaluate that in the coming months.
At the Adobe Creek crossing, an opossum and a wet raccoon at night.
We are seeing raccoons more regularly than in previous years.
Wild turkey. This is only the second turkey we have photographed, although we frequently hear them on our hikes.
Two daylight photos of bobcats, followed by a bobcat video on a rainy night.
Four deer cross the creek in morning light. Large groups of adult (or near-adult) blacktails are somewhat unusual.
Video of two deer crossing the rain-swollen creek.
Acorn woodpecker, closeup and short video.
No mountain lions or feral hogs were seen this month.
